The whole place is well air conditioned – ‘tis always a good idea to keep temperatures at comfortable levels, especially around food preparation spots, like the sushi preparation point here.

The service here is impressive. The waiters are well versed with the menu in both English and Japanese. They willingly make recommendations to the clients, and are always there without appearing to hover around.
The menu at Onami is a creative deviation from the traditional Japanese. They have a wide range of starters, both hot and cold, followed by yakitori and sushi combinations as well as several vegetarian starters. Almost all dishes are worth recommending; chicken wings yakitori – marinated chicken skewered and grilled, prawn noodles cooked with coconut and vegetables, cold potato noodles with soy sauce and sesame and sake steamed chicken served cold.
The grilled beef here is wonderful. The beef is prepared to your taste and is served with black sesame seed sauce atop caramelized onions. There are vegetarian dishes also. Desert Menus are separate.
If you are having a birthday, they will ring a massive gong for you.
